FRAIHA is able to process, interpret, respond and communicate with other systems in order to perform on a vast variety of repetitive tasks. FRAIHA never sleeps. It is significantly faster and 100% repeatable, allowing GP surgeries to up-scale, enabling GPs to spend more quality time with patients, which in turn increases their capacity to see a greater volume of patients.

Digital Transformation Journey

Primary Care like many other industries is going through a digital transformation. Many of the well known Patient Administration Systems (PAS) have been web-enabled. Some surgeries have adopted a self-service offering for patients, including; appointment booking and prescription requests.

to efficiently demand manage all the inbound work and ensure that GP’s, Nurses and other Health Workers are allocated efficiently. A dashboard provides an easy single view of all the work in once place.

Surgeries have Tasks in PAS systems and in emails that need to be assigned for action. Our system helps to highlight the demand and allow easy and efficient management.

R&D: Repeat Prescriptions

Prescription re-authorisations represent 75% of all prescription items written by GPs and represent 80% of all drug costs.

Repeat prescribing errors are one of the main reasons for malpractice awards against GPs. It is estimated that up to a fifth of prescribed medication is never taken, leading to an estimated wastage of £200m. There is a SLA target of 48hours between requests to script.

Automation coupled with AI will take an incoming request and process it, applying the clinical rules and either approve and issue the prescription or redirect the request to the right clinician for manual processing.

R&D: Document Management

Surgeries receive documents for patients from a number of sources including referrals to specialist consultants, clinics, opticians, dentists etc. The content could be a simple letter acknowledging that the patient was seen by an external provider to actually implementing medication changes, new diagnosis or treatment plans.

A Discharge Summary is an example document which is produced by a health professional at the conclusion of a hospital stay or treatment. The surgeries process these documents by identifying new conditions, medication changes and treatment plans on the patient record.

R&D: Medicine Review

A medication review is a structured, critical examination of a person’s medicines. The objective is to identify any issues with the treatment plan, optimising medicines, minimising medication-related problems, reducing waste etc
A medication review frees up a lot of doctor’s time and ensure patients are getting the best out of the medicines. The benefits includes reduced hospital admissions, reduced surgery visits, patients with long‑term conditions gain optimum outcomes from use of medicines and patient satisfaction.
